keep in mind that my grievance is for "remembering" people who volunteered for the army to have a good time, ing prostitutes, getting drunk, ing with the heads of their prisoners, all that . it was a fun job with the chance of getting your head exploded.
why does that have to be rewarded with all this glory?
i can't believe that you can't differentiate between foreign and domestic policy. DOMESTIC = I LIKE!!! HAI 5!!! FOREIGN = FAIL. |

soldiers don't start wars, politicians do. no matter if you agree with a war or not, respect those that go and sacrifice their lives so that you don't have to. the majority of them don't want to be there either, nobody knows the horror of war better than a soldier.
The problem with people born after WW2 is that the majority of them have never really have their freedom threatened so they don't properly respect those willing to sacrifice their lives to defend it. WW2 was the last war that had grave consequences if we lost and also wasn't an easy win. Yes, now historians believe that there was no way Hitler could have won the war, but put yourself in occupied Europe in 1940 before he made all those poor military decisions, or put yourself in America shortly after Pearl Harbor when the war in the Pacific wasn't going well. People who were alive then know what it was like to have your freedom threatened, they knew what would happen if Germany was allowed to win the war in Europe so they respected the sacrifices made by millions of young people to make sure that didn't happen.
Funny that a lot of the people who take this for granted would have fallen into one of the groups targeted by Hitler for ethnic cleansing. |

Sorry but wasn't Pakistan the aggressor in all four Indo-Pakistani Wars? It's a little bit nuts to expect the rest of the world to come to your aid when you start a war and then get your ass whipped (especially in 71). Notwithstanding the fact that Pakistan was the aggressor, the UN did step in to impose a cease-fire in the 1965 war? |

when did anyone say anything about pro-Nazism. I just find your lack of respect for those that sacrificed their lives so you could remain free funny coming from someone who's race would have received a one way ticket to the gas chambers or a slave labor camp had Hitler been left alone long enough to accomplish all that he wanted. |
