She remembers alot of it, and has had extensive therapy. Before he died, she asked him, "why me?" he told her "you're the weak one." (she has cerebral palsy).. :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: so now i've removed his picture everywhere i could, (obviously not quotes) and i don't hope he rests in peace.. anyway...
i'll now focus on the other people in my family and their sacrifice, and be grateful for their service etc. :gsmile: |

Program designers wanted to combine the game with Remembrance Day tributes but complained that another picture featuring a train looked contrived. They finally settled on the picture which they thought showed Australian troops returning from battle.
But after the program had been sold to hundreds of fans at the match - which Airdrie lost 1-0 - an eagle-eyed supporter spotted the mistake and rang the club.
Airdrie United secretary Ann Marie Ballantyne said the picture was supplied to them by PoppyScotland but the organisation denied the claim.
Airdire United Chairman Jim Ballantyne has now apologised for the mistake.
He said: 'I would like to unreservedly apologise for the error on our Remembrance programme which resulted in the wrong photograph being used for the front cover.'
The gaffe was the subject of mocking posts on supporters' websites.
Some fans were convinced the image had to be a fake, with one saying: "Surely nobody is that stupid?" |

this is the only thread i bump once a year. It's rememberance day, and like every other year, we went to the park to pay our respects. i take this holiday seriously as i am grateful for sacrifice so many people have made to ensure we have our freedom.
thank you steelwolf, t-bills, yohan and VAR for your service, as well as anyone else here i have forgotten. also, how awkward is the whole child molesting grandpa part of this thread..:wtf: still pretty horrified about that whole deal. |
