Thoughts?

We are spoiled.. we have seen what the big guns are capable of and then when they fail to produce the magic that has made them who they are .. we are left disappointed. Good thing we have such a great scene in Toronto that the night can be made/saved by the locals.

It was already mentioned but I think it needs to be stressed again.. the local scene is on fire.. to be able to watch the locals grow, evolve and improve has been a great ride. Nathan, Carlo, Val, Vince and Sean... I think the world needs to be watch out for where these guys will go..

Joe and Fab .. you are the Toronto sound. You helped lay out the ground work for the thriving scene we have today..

Having been around the world and experienced what the rest of the world has to offer.. I think we are damn lucky to have everything we do in our own backyard..

I have been blown away by most of the big guys this year it just took traveling around the world to make it happen.

We're too spoiled and our expectations are elevated repeatedly to retarded levels ;)

I would definitely agree that Toronto is spoiled with big name DJs that come in and play sets you won't hear anywhere else in North America. And, when they do have off nights, its more of a disappointment than ever because of this.

Hands down, any DJ I've seen both outside of and in Toronto - they are always at their best in Toronto. No comparison.

So, for those who are spoilt by the plenty in T-Dot, a set that is "mediocre" can be downright fantabulous for those of us that are starved for the musical radiance that is brought out by TOronto.

But I will say that Lawler @ Skybar this year was far less a phenom than last year or even his System set of 2005.

And I am a TOronto addict. If only citizenship were easier to come by....

I disagree just for the fact that this was the first time i've seen most of the int'l DJs and thought they amazing...

I think my set of the year has to go to Sander Van Doorn @ 10 Year...had sooo much fun and he just an amazing tracklist!!

+1.

Blank and Jones were en incredible in Aug! Sander was just unforgettable @ 10 yr. Armin was great in Sept.
