Can anyone suggest what hotel would be the best for BEB ? |
We (rather, my friends from out of town) have one of the larger rooms here: Habitation Vieux Montreal You get a full suite with kitchen, right in the old port and the prices are fantastic. A one bedroom goes for about $125 a night, and that has a pull out couch. It's a small hotel--but nice. I'd book quick! |

Is the room separate with its own door? My friends will be sleeping in the living room area .. and they don't need to know what the Montreal BeB promoter and I are up to behind closed doors :tongue3 |

Yep! They have a really nice set-up there. It's clean and well-kept. I had a friend stay in the Parisien and it rocked. They got it so everyone could have their "private" space. It seemed to work. As I recall, it also had a washer/dryer... and you just never know when that will come in handy! I don't think you can beat it for the price/location. That, and coming home after the party to a room with a fridge and a place to party is worth its weight. That's our plan... :) |

nothing better than having the kitchenette w/fridge & microwave and separate room, and for that price too.
I got the same rate & same amenities with the Holiday Inn Express too (thru work) but I'll check that hotel out another time for sure. If you can find a big grocery store chain like we did, then I suggest you stock that thing up. Chicks dig the stocked fridge :p |

Yes Hotwire is a awesome site! I book over 100 rooms a year on that website and I stayed at some 4 star hotel for under 90$ a night! In Montreal most of the time it's the Sheraton downtown that I got!
