luckly still 1.5 games up, but these damn pesky last place teams
astros, indians, pirates(not last, but still), and yankees(might as well be last, although they are only 6.5 out)
edit: the bottom is falling out... 7 in a row now .5 game back from teh sox... its sad :( |

Watching Home Run Derby right now ... OMFG ... Josh Hamilton is putting on a clinic. WOW. WOW. WOW. 504 FEET!!!!
EDIT: 28 home runs!!!! Smashes the old record by a few HR's!!! Jesus ... with the longest at 514 feet. I cant believe its not steroids.
This guy surely turned his life around ... amazing. I wish him all the luck in his MLB career. :eyes: |

He wasn't cut. He was put in the Rule 5 draft because the Devil Rays didn't have him on their 40-man roster. Cubs drafted him and then sold him to the Reds. |

Actually, the whole NL East didn't represent very well. Billy Wagner could've had this game over hours earlier. :whip:
Guzman did have some nice plays in the field with the game on the line, especially for not having played 3B this year.
Different story for the other Florida team - Longoria tied the game against Wagner, and Kazmir got the win. |

| and even though kazmir is our ace i wanted the game to keep goign to see franconia forfit the game.... that would have been great PR for baseball... bummer it didnt... so b/c it didnt happen nobody will talk about it... |
