That's really interesting. I know some Europeans wear the wedding ring on their right hand instead of the left.

From Wikipedia
In other countries such as Germany, Greece, Russia, Spain, Slovakia, India, Colombia, Venezuela, and Poland, however, it is worn on the right hand. Orthodox Christians and Eastern Europeans also traditionally wear the wedding band on the right hand.

I know for a fact that is true for Germans and Russians. I have personal experience with both.

Oh absolutely there's diminishing returns, where you probably look like more of a ponce than you would have with a smaller ring.

But to equate a Benz with a 300 carat ring is absurd, a Benz is just a slightly higher end car. Let's talk about a car over 150K.

/off topic

CL65 AMG is almost 200K....

So hot. The epitome of a turn-on for me.

My gf already told me she's accept anything if it meant she could marry me and I believe her. So, she'll be getting the nicest ring I can reasonably afford.

what a woman says and what she means are too different things. Although it may be true that any ring would be accepted and appreciated.....the true test is if she is embarrased to show her friends. Almost anyone wants that WOW factor when they show something special to their friends. If a woman shows her friends her new engagement ring and she gets a "oh that is a cute little diamond" response she is not going to be happy.

this is such flippin BS!
honestly... your posts in this thread DRIP with cynicism and borderline misogynistic undertones.

I don't fit into this demographic, neither do a bunch of girls who posted in here.

It's pissing me off how you shove "women" into a seemingly bimbo-ish materialistic demographic and then attempt to offer solutions on how to make "women" happy. WTF???

ania,,, relax,, this is how society is.. i am not saying women in general are like this.. i believe if you love someone.. marriage and rings are just made up things and you don't need any of it. I guess for legal purposes i would think the best place to get hitched is at city hall. wanna get married?
