hot, single, and intelligent is possible..... but theres always the possibility they could be crazy/bitchy/demanding/materialistic/bossy/self-centered etc.!
still a lot of things you gotta consider! |

Every guy here will have to buy the ring eventually :) Just accept it!
Here's a question for the girls though: why do you _want_ the ring? (spare me the "tradition" talk, diamonds became a tradition in 1930's, after an extremely successful De Beers marketing/brainwashing campaign - look it up).
So once again, why do you _want_ the ring? Clearly it's not a _requirement_ to get married. And if you take "fake tradition" out of the equation, what's left? Really, articulate the answer - i'm looking forward to it (something better than "everyone has it", or, "it's shiny and pretty"). |

don't forget the marriages that stay together...
a) for the kids
b) because both parties don't feel like going through a messy divorce and just continue to be unhappy
so the odds of a marriage working out properly are not in your favour at all |

Agreed.
Disagreed with RJ though... Size matters first before quality. You never hear other girls say "OOOO what great quality" it is. The first words are usually "It's huge" and the fiancees really want to hear something in the lines of "OMG, I didn't bring my skates!"
A ring is bragging rights for women. They will love you no matter what, as they should. They do need to show off their pride.
Solution? Get a huge cubic zirconia (both of you don't tell anybody), and take her out on a $5k adventure to Vegas at the Bellagio. |
