Then they'll spend most of their time figuring out the basics and important things... like how to take a picture of their arse and MMS it.
Not exactly 'life changing'
Applications are a crock, if you haven't figured out what you're doing in your schedule by the time you've walked out the door in business, then chances are the application to tell you to be somewhere really isn't going to make you McD's crew member of the month or help land that massive deal with Bob's plumbing on water cisterns.
No really, it isn't... you'll just spend the time faffing around on the net spamming your friends with lolcats, arse pictures and wasting time. |
I disagree. It isn't useless, but our society is just a bunch of moron robots that just can't deal with something so complicated. ing whack. |

Both of those blow. Now this on the other hand, is fantastic.

ps: ALL HP iPaqs are made by HTC. ;) |

| Fallen in love with the Pro2 :D Though i can see why, if i wasbt already almost completely satisfied with my E71 (the only thing it lacks is a decent mobile trading platform) i would be buying that one for sure. |

| Yeah and with WM6.5 it is even better. Not to mention what HTC has done to hide Windows Mobile as much as possible. The newer TF3d 2.5 and 2.6 have fully replaced the SMS/MMS/E-mail apps, but they are so unstable and buggy I refuse to use them. TF3d 2.1 is what I stick with for the moment. |

The port itself on the phone is bad. Time for a new one! |

By that definition if the majority of people aren't capable of using it to its full potential, doesn't that make it fairly much useless? I think they missed the point completely and probably should have marketed them more as an entertainment device rather than communication device.
Which is probably where the iPhone succeeded over some of the Nokia's.
Just that I've had a lot of phones for business and there's really nothing I can't do with my old Nokia 6000something (that is MY business phone) than I can't do with the N90 series (it was present) though if I dig around I might be able to find my old Kyocera sat phone if I wanted to become a career terrorist or drug dealer :p |

lol the nokia 6000 series blows so much ass. Always has always will. Only the nokia Communicator series (9000) are worth any mention when it was from the old days. The N series has now taken that crown. Although till Maemo 5 lauches, Symbian still sucks.
Oh and I guess it would be useless. :p |

I had to pull it apart to find out what it is- 6610
Regardless, the little thing has been going strong for about 5 years and taken many, many important calls that made me a lot of money.
It has never failed, crashed or died on me travelling through about 19-20 countries that I can remember, the battery will last about 6 days straight before it even looks like it needs a charge (this is a 5 year old battery remember- still on its original) so how is that useless?
You need some perspective on 'use' |

Hey, I had one of those. I got it in 2003 and ended up giving it to my mum when I got a new phone in 2006. She still uses it, and it works perfectly. Great little phone |

My phone is also my calendar and alarm clock. I also use it quite often for directions to places I have never been, looking for something relative to where I am at the time, my phonebook, etc. So, what perspective on use do I need? |
