dude i saw that video months, MONTHS ago (i think it was with the same phone, at least) and was very impressed. lots of choppiness and slowdowns during certain events though :P (choppy sound is worse than claws on a chalkboard for me- would rather have choppy gameplay)
i'm curious as to why they haven't done that for android yet- my phone has nearly a 1ghz processor, so it could definitely handle PSX emulation... meh. |

What phone did you get? The MyTouch 3g right? That has 528mhz cpu. :p |

Been reading trough this and i dont think that ill be exchanging my nokia for a htc in the next months.

The only one that sports full qwerty slider is the Tera, and when its described as the "downsized and downgraded version of the Touch Pro 2" it really doesn't spark my interest. I dont want a downgraded version of the PRo2, i want a Pro2 with machine gun attachments! Put that 1Ghz CPU in there, some people need the power! Not everyone who busy a phone with full qwerty is a boring businessman who just types emails all day long :mad: |

| The Droid just received the 2.0.1 update and boy did it fix a bunch of crap. The phone runs much faster, is more responsive, and has a bit of really nice UI upgrades. Overall the phone just got that much better. |

I saw the roadmap too, but I am sure there are others that weren't on there. We will see though. |

Hope something comes out from them soon then. As things stand now the only device i would exchange my E71 for is the Omnia PRO. Sure it doesnt have the classy feel of the E71 or the Touch PRO 2, bu i kind off like its black plastic design and the 800Mhz processor with a dedicated graphics chip. Its no snapdragon, but probably better than the 526Mhz (or something like that) chip in the Touch PRO 2. Xperia x2 looks nice, but it has the same cpu as the HTC, so its no faster and while the xperia x10 is one sexy beast no keyboard and android only (not only is there no psx emulator available for it but even worse, no 3rd party gps software as of yet)

Remember the good old days when nobody cared how fast the cpu was in ones phone because all we needed from them was the ability to call and send text...right neither do i, those were horrible times :p
Anyway probably not getting a new for for a couple of months or so anyway but when i do, the omnia pro is on the shortlist. |
