i had one issue already with my phone- windows 7 didn't recognize it, at all. had to find drivers for it, turn on USB debugging mode on my phone, turn it off, turn it back on, and then "allow USB access" after i reconnected it. i was beginning to get a bit frustrated.

I'm still working out the kinks and the os has had a minor issue recognizing taps to the screen after returning from unlock. It only lasts a moment but has created a minor annoyance. Otherwise many apps are solid and I'm sure there is a lot I have yet to find out. Snesoid is solid, having snes anywhere is quite win.

The Razr got damn good reviews on overall quality, but it had some serious issues. So, a review doesn't mean to me.

Yeah the perils of using a *nix based phone with Windows.

So its saturday morning and whats a man to do at this time of day, well look for new phones that are coming out of course!

So today for the first time i saw this.

I know i said to myself that i would never again buy a Sony Ericsson, but since this one is on ndroid it may not be a total piece of sluggish crap like the other ones that i owned were. Though seeing as i play a great amount of classic games on my mobile the lack of a keyboard does bother me a bit. Sure its multitouch so i guess one could map the dpad and other buttons on the screen, but thats not really a precise way to play games where precision is a must...we will see

Then theres also a new motorola powered by android comming out, that ones actually supposed to have a qwertz keybpoard but i dont know. THe last motorola i had that was good was one of these.

That cost me a small fortune when it came out, and even though it had some massive flaws (notoriously bad motorola menus, didnt bother to look up a name in the phonebook for texts...) it served me well until it suddenly died for no reason whatsoever.

Also with another 20 android devices expected to launch by the end of the year, i guess its really time to install that android sdk and see what can be done with it. Sigh, such a bother developing for multiple platforms...

ben, i love my ing phone. lol. i didn't know that most of the apps for android are free.. and the interface for the OS is sick. SOOO much better than windows mobile. and man, 800Mhz makes a HUUUGE difference compared to my old dash.

i have nothing bad to say about my phone. other than i wish that the d-pad was on the left-hand side like a game controller instead of the right-hand side like a pc keyboard.. i feel like a retard playing the snes now. haha

haha yeah, most apps are free. For now anyways. More paid apps are coming though.

As for the Dash compared to that...well...let's just not go there. :p

No doubt, but 200mhz cpu was bad enough on my old Wizard, let alone the Dash that isn't as easily ed with.

yeah, as i've mentioned before, i overclocked it to 267mhz, but then it started to crash randomly and the battery would get really toasty. and really, 67mhz wasn't that noticeable of an increase, except for OS navigation (which, by default clock speed, was pretty sluggish)

one other complaint i have with the moment is that the keyboard is actually a bit too big (it's really spread out), so it takes a little longer to type messages than i'm used to. also, it sometimes hesitates when i'm typing too quickly (it takes a sec for it to catch up), which is strange since the processor speed is as fast as it is.
