Pffft that whole "try to be friends and then lead into dating" thing is crap. That's just being a wimp. My boyfriend and I did NOT try to be friends first. He made his intentions clear when he asked me out 4 times (I said no the first 3) - and then when I finally said yes, we were all hot and bothered by one another and didn't try to hide it. |
Thank you! That is another good trick too. If they say no the first time you can always try again. |

no for s sake people I'm assuming you have some common sense. yes talk to them for a bit, my point is make your feelings known before you end up in the friend zone. make sure she knows when you first meet her |
I've heard/read enough "this guys is so creepy blah, blah blah." Stories to know that isn't always common sense. |

That's why picking up chicks gets easier after you're married... if you up, big deal - just go home and do your wife. |
GOLD! :haha: |

there you go, an actual woman confirming what I'm saying. I like your boyfriend's approach, the way he kept asking figuring at some point you would feel bad for continuously rejecting him and say yes. if a girl is hot enough there is no reason you have to give up after the first rejection |
Never give up! |

lol any time his friends say they won't ask out a girl b/c she has a boyfriend he's like "so? ask her out anyway. and ask her out again. persistence pays off!" It paid off for him because he was hot as hell and I totally wanted him... :tongue3 |

lol the only reason I said no to begin with is because I had a boyfriend at the time :stongue: He was just like "so?" :haha: |

| Of the 7 people I consider to be really close friends, only 2 are guys. |

"hey I couldn't help but notice how hot you were and you seem really cool too want to go out sometime" is not creepy
there I spelled it out for you, I'm not saying you wont get rejected but at least you know what to do |
I'm not saying you guys don't know what you're talking about. In fact, I agree with you. All i'm saying is that attitude is important. |

Generally speaking, platonic relationships between a man a woman do not exist. They might at first, but eventually one grows feelings for the other. It's natural. We're human beings. And when this happens, of course, the friendship is no longer the same. The advice is never the same. It's skewed and no longer pure. |
I have a 100% platonic best friend of 11 years.
We met when she was dating my brother, and completely view eachother as brother and sister, nawt sexual about it at all. |
