Boat Cruises 2009

There are about 7 or 8 boat cruises listed in the events forum between now and Canada Day, and probably at least a few more that have been posted on Facebook but not TA. That seems to be more than last year.
Here's a place for discussion about boat cruises.
What I'd like to see this year:
1. Boats leaving on time. This has been getting worse year after year, and it is at the point now where I want to go on less cruises, and will avoid boats that are notorious for leaving late. It is really frustrating paying $40-50 cover for a boat that was advertised as 12-1 boarding, 1-5 cruise, but ends up being more like 12:45-1:30 (or even later) boarding, but the cruise still end at five.
2. More light-hearted music. I like techno and tech house as much as the next person, but nothing is more depressing than hearing dark techno or minimal for the entire duration of a cruise. In my opinion, that kind of music should be left for dark clubs at night. Play some house or something during the day!
3. Good headliners. There have been a few headliner-boats announced so far, but none of them interest me except for the Chus & Ceballos cruise (although I don't know if I'm going because I don't really want to spend $70+ on a ticket.)[ |

Boat cruise to me means summery fun house. Bring in Luke Fair boat cruise! |

I'm looking forward to the fred everything boatcruise. I expect some good summer boat cruisey tunes from that one.
