Let me get this straight, you'll date and sleep with the second guy but the first guy is just so appalling to you that you can't even be on the same boat as him?

I love you baby...

Boat cruises are no different than club parties, you have to pick them selectively.
I'm pretty sure I'll only be on beats ahoy cruises this summer.

I'm definitely not in favour of the lower sound levels, and the ban on sunscreen, but to say that a boat cruises only get the odd drunk idiot is erroneous in my view. I'm sure you've heard of the infamous girl who shat her pants, and that's only one example of countless sketchy people that have been seen and even talked about on these boards.

The difference with there being a drunk idiot or a sketchy person whose done too much at a club vs. a boat is that at a club there's usually medics, and/or the person can be sent home. On a boat, it causes a whole new issue.

Oktoberfest in Munich is a bunch of people drinking in tents, does that not count as culture?

That is an event or celebration of the culture.

Would you consider a saturday night at Guv a cultural event?

A watered-down, overly commercialized version of one, sure.

What makes a jazz gathering a cultural event but a house music gathering not?
