Are there stricter noise restrictions this summer? Both Rock the Boat for most of the cruise, and Reign had the sound kept right down. It really affected everyone's ability to get into it. Most people were just standing around talking at both parties.
Also, the River Gambler was not allowing sunscreen to be brought onto the boat. I am very surprised by this. I don't even know if I'll be able to go on boat cruises during the hotter months of the summer if I'm not allowed to bring sunscreen on. Are other boats doing this too? |
Not being allowed to bring sunscreen? Wtf? I can understand perfume, but I don't get the sunscreen thing...do they want everyone to get burned? |

No sunscreen or perfume? Jesus christ it's not a jetliner. That's the lamest thing I ever heard.

for them it's a risk to allow anything on the boat since more than half the time they are witness to people ting themselves or having to be taken off the boat in the middle of the cruise by paramedics.
i just hope there would be a way for them to open the sunscreen bottle and see that it's sunscreen.
on this boat they took everything out of every bag and opened it. it took an hour and a half to board. i mean, if you are going to do that then might as well open the sunscreen bottle as an extra step.
i can put it on for you if you want. if i was ever going to sneak on any contraband, it wouldn't be in my 60 dollar sunscreen bottle.
i did cause a scene at the entrance since i had already been waiting for 1.5 hours to get on but they let me go into the control house to apply my sunscreen thoughout the cruise. it wasn't that much of a bother.
but just like someone said, one guy was going through the whole bucket and picking out what he wanted and saying it was his at the end. |

Yeah for the time it takes to fight with every person who doesnt want to get rid of their sunscreen they should of just opened the bottle and checked. Or if thats too much work allow sunscreen on the boat in see through bottles.
I really hope they sort this out. River Gambler is my favourite boat |

everything possible. any liquid.
like they almost didn't allow lip gloss. but the security guard let me keep mine.
and yet people obviously somehow brought the stuff on since i saw people doing caps. so weird/gross.
i do wonder how many drugs did they actually confiscate. i would like to see the stats. |
