Actually, he doesn't know. I haven't told him much about me, and I fake confidence really well in person. I don't rely on him for anything (if I'm feeling fat or unattractive that day, I don't whine to him, I just deal with it myself)
A lot of my friends (when they got to know me, but I cut them off once they got to know me too much) were surprised at my lack of confidence, since I love going out, talking to people, making friends, performing, etc. |

That will change. It's obvious you just have some emotional and intellectual maturing to do.
I have a friend like this. You can tell that she's actually really sure of herself...but because she doesn't know how to balance her ego properly she overcompensates with self depreciation and feigned low self worth. It's really goddamn obnoxious. |

Its not feigned... I enjoy interacting with people, I love performing, but when it comes down to me as a single person I don't think I'm overly special, and it just weirds me out when people go 'omg!' over me. |
