I dont think you understand politics. Canada is a country rich in resources. The only reason another power hasnt taken it over, or it hasnt been eaten up like china by the british, germans, etc...is because you have America backing you. Didnt you know there is an agreement that if Canada is attacked America is attacked too? |

really now? the US spends 0.1% of its GNP currently, on foreign aid. The UN is looking for nations to spend 0.7%. Canadians are currently spending 0.43% of its GNP.

Canadians never stood up for anything they beleive in. Any war that they have gotten into is because of them being allies with another country who actually has balls.
you Canadians seem to think you're doing a real favor to the US by being allies. Well, I'm sure we all appreciate the thought (it's really kind of cute to actually think it matters to us), but I just don't see how your mounties and whatever other military you have, if any, could help against enemies that have evolved past use of horses for transportation. So, if you'll excuse me, I'll go back to having an actual life in an actual country, and I'll leave you Canadians to your hockey, bacon, and persecuting Quebec, the only providence with enough sense to want out of Canada. |

how do you people want the u.s. to respond??? just let it go??? c'mon, if something this big happened in your country, you would retaliate too. and if you say "well, retaliation is ok to a certain point." so when do you say when??? i mean there will always be some people out there that will critisize your length in a war even if it was bombing for just one day. i'm confused to as how you guys want the u.s. act? |
