Damn,this thread has got much to read:crazy: anyway,saw some interesting stuff in here,so according to some of you it's right to kill some people just because it's war and in war it is a normal fact that some mistakes are made,WHAT THE ????What if every one thought liked that,the world would even be a more crazy place to live on.If you think like that the taliban had every right to crash those planes into the WTC's because they are in war with the US ,so they may kill innocent people,oops mistake.....

LOL...sorry i type fast when i get into debates and sometimes dont recheck my spelling...i can spell but i try and type too fast...i will do better...LOL

its really a shell shock to me how there can be so much dissent towards america's actions since 9/11. i mean, the first time i heard about it was that stupid french book saying 9/11 was staged and didnt really happen.
the reason we went into afghanistan was because al'queda was there. If you haven't realized, the taliban are hella pissed off w/ osama ... because if he didn't do anything, they would still be in control of the country.
as far as approval rating and getting elected again, sure.. thats what all politicians want. but that has to say something about the people. if they didnt approve about the policies, then the policies would change. the fact of the matter is, when you attack the policies... then you're actually attacking the american people's opinion. thats why some of us are defending in this issue.
iunno. just kind of dumb that people can't see the whole picture. |

just curious, where do you get your "truth" from? Local newspapers, National Television? Are you part of the White House? Work for the Pentagon?
You had people involved in 9/11. You have a right to be angry and sad. But right now you are just using that as an excuse to argue with pure emotion, void of logic or rationale. You keep talking about truth, and facts. Back it up, and maybe we'll take you more seriously.

This is a whole nother can o' worms to open. But my point that you can't simply believe what the guvernment tells you has been taken:

And yes i do think the drug industry in Afganistan has something to do with why the states are so concerned with thier country. And no they don't have to bomb Cloumbia for the Coke. They already got the fingers in that cookie jar.

It is common knowledge that Suddam and the USA were very close bed fellows until American interest differed with Iraqi.
Finally I would like to make a suggestion to anyone with an open mind. Someone who is interested in understanding world issues from different perspectives. Not just what is fed to them through the Western Media Machine.
