yea i know we should make our weapons more accurate etc, but u really have to admit weve grown a bit since our uber-firebombings of tokyo in ww2. i really agree with you about us just messing up way too much, but im concerned about people thinking that we think killing civilians is like a game of counterstrike or something.
and good stuff snafu :) again, not only are we protecting ourselves, we are making a noble effort (man i love that word) to protect other democratic nations that promote human rights. |

in a perfect world, there would be no innocent casualties.
but, we are all human. there are no innocents.
i mean, how many u.s. military personnel died in training exercises away from the fighting? or while being transported and the helicopter crashed due to malfunction? aren't they innocent as well since they weren't involved directly in the fighting?? those of you pacifists are probably saying, well they didn't belong there. well, the same can be said of the civilian afghans. excuse me for being callous but the people had enough warning that the country was now a warzone, and if you don't wanna die, you don't belong there.
...and...in a perfect world, we wouldn't have any of this b.s. to deal with or worry about, because we would all get along, despite our differences. even all the flaming on this board.

FIRST of all i came in this debate calm and cool...then everyone starts bashing Americans and Bush again...
I TRYED to have a normal debate but with all the uneducated people who seem to think America is the worst place because we ed up on some bombings i had to respond......
and to the Canadians....u guys dont even have an army...well what ever u do have its a joke....dont be jealous that are salvation army could take your entire country out in 20 minutes,.
