And it still will be if if goes on all the sites mentioned. ;)

There's a whole heap of contract and mastering stuff to sort out before there's any talk of releasing it. But I think there's enough knowledge on these forums to consider it after the tracklist is finalised.

once u guys figure out the legalities i will be submitting, sorry if i sound stupid here, i realize its not about the legalities but the music, however, i still want rights and what not.

Nice to have you on the board emo. You may want to remove download option in your track edit property.

Good effort.

Keep them coming TA's.

Cheers

I don't think you sound stupid at all, this is the reason I asked about money in the first place. If there is profit to be made off of this project, it usually has some sort of legal issues to it.

I'm all for this project, I love how everyone is making music and the enthusiasm towards our goal. And all the quality that's gone into it so far, it's great. In my honest opinion, it just needed to be organized a little better. But out of the many times a TA album has been talked about, I'm happy that we're finally doing it.

i have a track that i would like to have in here but i wonder about all the managing stuff. if this is going to be released as a album or something and money and i cant participate, but if its a free download on forums around etc im in. im still holding on the djmix edition though but seems im the only one.

Perhaps somebody who has experience in large collaborative projects or compilation albums could shed some light on the finer details of legalities and potential financial calculations however small they might be.

I agree.

i think we should just keep it free instead, avoiding contracts and . i hate that , and i bet many of you do too. money only cause problems. greed, hate, conflicts, lets avoid it.

Personally I'm happy with this. I never had any expectations to make money when I started making music and I don't really now either, although I wouldn't turn it down either ;)

its not worth looking at the paper works and bad contracts and imo. loosing your name to a label etc etc.
