Yeah, that's right.
I think I'll be contributing a downtempo piece for the next one too... |

Hi Guys, my first post on here after lurking in the shadows for weeks. I just want to say a million thanks and well done for everyones effort on this so far.
I just had a couple of thoughts with regard to charging for the album. I completely agree that it should remain free, I don't want to make any money from the track I've produced, but how does everyone feel about making it donation based? We keep it a free download but suggest people make a donation to charity if they like it?
We could set up a page on justgiving.com or something similar and link it from the album site - that way any money we make goes straight to the charity. It would be good to show the total raised then on the album web site.
Does anyone have any suggestions on this?
A couple spring to mind:
http://www.dec.org.uk/
http://www.music4children.org/
It would be good to see something really positive achieved for all our hard work. I think it would help publicise it a lot too - people are more likely to take a look/tell people about it if there's a good cause behind it. |

| Just stopping by to say that the name of my track is "High Priest (Short Version)". The original is 12 minutes and also on SoundCloud so this one must be named differently. |

No problem floyd, lets make this official, so you would like to change your track name from "High Priest" to High Priest (Short Version).
Ky can you make this change, please (if is possible).
Cheers |

I was actually thinking about this before (few week back) and I kind of like this idea - but decision is up to all of us so we need to ask question to all of the contributors and see if they agree to this.

None of us were in this for money in the first place, I'm all for setting up a donation link. One of those "choose your price" options maybe?
What charity would it go to? The Haiti fund? |

I'm for it to.

| Donations going to charity is fine with me, as long as the organizers don't mind setting it up. |

| do not donate to charities related to haiti those "donation corporations" have made a killing since earthquake and only tiny fraction of the money actually gets there |

I'm not convinced the donation idea is feasible at this stage. We're likely to havemultiple hosts and also lots of different ideas as to which charity that donations should be made to.
I would suggest this is held off for the chillout album onwards so that there is more time to organise how we'll do it and who the money goes to. |
