It was not my intention to talk about Chinese love or hate like rubbin it in your face, but this anti-China sentiment I sense is one of the reasons why I wrote that post that was linked earlier. |

Then don't be. He's a funny guy, once you get to know him. Chris Crossland, too. I'd expect to be challenged on some of the things you say about China, though. China doesn't exactly have good press, in the rest of the world and this board has a history of spammers from China posting on it. The spamming is a very real nuisance.
Perhaps you're not responsible for the spamming, but extolling the virtues of perceived trouble-makers (by association) hasn't put you in a very good light. |

Chinese people are as racist/nationalistic as any other Asian country. What about the anti-Japanese protests where mobs of Chinese people attacked Japanese restaurants or Chinese people driving Japanese cars? Anytime the Japanese PM decides to show up at the Yasakuni shrine which houses WW2 criminals, the entire country blows up in anger.
Alot of Chinese people do not like dark skinned people, especially blacks. They view having darker skin as being low class, because low class farmers who worked in the field under the sun all day recieve more exposure to sunlight, darkening their skin. There was that half-black half-chinese female singer who competed in that Chinese-Idol show who was made fun of for being half black by tons of Chinese viewers and told to get out of the country. |
