and which particular inaccuracies did you have issues with re the portrayal of Easy company's experiences in the war? |

Exactly. The ing show was about one ing company in the 101st Airborne Division of the ENTIRE US Army which fielded tens of thousands of men in the European campaign, not to mention the thousands of other men from Canada, the UK, and the French resistance or the MILLIONS of Russians on the Eastern front. You could easily say that BoB was bad because it didn't portray the actions of the soldiers in Saving Private Ryan if that is your idea of showing everything.
This is the same that R!CH tard had in the Oscars thread. A movie does not have to represents the experiences of the whole, or even the common. It is a story about a certain small section of a much bigger picture. |

What in the hell are you talking about then, you talked about representation, now you are on about perceived historical inaccuracies and like that?
What is so historically inaccurate about Ryan or BoB. There were some things in both that took dramatic license, but other than that there is no outrageous fallacies. |

| Cannot wait. BoB is one of my favourite series/movies ever. Still tear up in a lot of the scenes where they interview the actual soldiers when I watch it on DVD. |
