| I'd like to know the characters more before I saw them in combat. Hopefully it will get better, overall its quite nice |

I think that's the main reason they went ahead with this series. Most people don't, myself included. |

Wait until the rest. Band of Brothers started off slow and by the end it was critically acclaimed and regarded as one of the best war time documentaries/movies of all time. |
I'll judge the rest when the rest comes. But if this is how they set up the integral characters of the story, things are not looking good... |

| It's good, but it feels as though it's taking far too long to progress. We're a third of the way in and I feel as though there's so much more ground to cover, I don't see it being possible with just eight more episodes. |

That's the feeling I got after watching part four too, but then again there is still hours of footage left. I'm enjoying it nonetheless. |

| Well I've only watched through part three, part four is on its way. If you get the same vibe after part four, then I'm not really holding out much hope for this. :( |

there is less than a year to go. Then bombing time!
The only thing I dislike about this and to an extent band of brothers, I keep forgetting who is who. I can only recognize 4 or 5 guys. |

Oh right. Well, quite a bit actually happens in part four in comparison to part three, though a lot of it is still character development for the long run. |

| Personally, the last episode, which focuses on Eugene Sledge, was by far the most, and only, engaging episode. If the rest of the series is of that episode's caliber, then there's still hope for The Pacific. |

+1
I got really into the last episode. It may sound retarded to some of you but that's the Marine Corps I wanted to be in. Now it's all bull. |
