or he is completly in touch with reality. i think if thats how he feels, than it is the right attitude and nobody has the right to tell him different.
its easy to beleive that ppl will always do the inherent "right" thing. but after gaining some life experience, one tends to become more in touch with "reality". and ppl often do what is "right" for the individual rather the collective society, that is the society in which we live, and cannot plot fault completely on the individual.
i personally beleive, and this will go against the rosey PLUR lovey dovey activists on these boards, that in order to truly ever be happy and successful, you must always put yourself above anyone else.
so going back to the video, YES I would shoot first and ask questions later. dog eat dog world. cruel and cold yes. sad extremely yes. am i proud that i have such a jaded view of humanity, no. but it came with a lot of life experience, and eventually one becomes tired of being hopelessly optimistic. |

I had initially tried to explain my intentions for wanting to talk to him. I had now taken a few steps back and I am simply asking him the way he would have preferred. I am simply giving up any notions I seem to be pushing to hear him out. |
