good point. it's a pity djwhocares is too ignorant to realize that if he yelled "fire" in a crowded theatre he'd actually get prosecuted for saying "whatever he might want to".

and to spell it out in case you don't catch the subtlety of my point, if you say something, whatever the it is, and it causes more harm to people than the good that arises from your freedom to say it (like on a scale), then US constitutional law protects those people and will limit your freedom to say it.

No you're not. You're genuinely butt hurt and are now trying to back peddle, though you're too proud, stupid or both to admit that your reaction was wrong and over the top.

Wow, ok I know you are just trying to get a reaction. Because I find it hard to believe that you would be this stupid. Just to be safe though, I'm gonna pull out some facts and then shove them up your ass since you seem to be full of anyway. :wtf:

Israel, the only Jewish state, has more laws protecting gays than the United States does. Omg you can even serve in the army OPENLY GAY in Israel. Hmmm I wonder what Israel's Muslim neighbors think about gays? Oh I know! Jail jail, jihad, stoning, and death. Except for a few Muslim countries there's still sodomy laws strictly enforced.

78% of Jews voted NO on Prop 8 in California in 2008. Voting no means yes to gay marriage FYI. Other religions? The majority of them voted YES on Prop...meaning no to gay marriage. You getting this yet?

I was born and raised a conservative Jew. Never in my ing life did I encounter a single Jew that hated gays until I joined a frat. I hazed him until he accepted my homosexuality fyi. But that's besides the point. My point is I've personally seen more Christians and far more Muslims show intolerance towards homosexuals than Jews. Moreover, if you actually do some research, you'll find the the VAST majority of Reform and Conservative temples are pro-gay, and those are the majority of Jewish temples. The orthodox are about 50/50 on gay issues. And the ultra orthodox (smallest minority) are just crazy freak of nature who suck ass in general.

So yeah, suck my dick.

ps. just to clarify, when I said "make fun of things" I didn't mean just find the lighter side
Nevermind the stupid extremists and terrorists that cause all the negative sentiment; but all that happened yesterday was that people were able to have an outlet for all that fear and hatred that has been building since 9/11. that's it. nothing more. I understand bas completely, even if he's a fag.:p

IMO since I have to read "fag" "gay" "faggot" "queer" all day on the c0r, then I think Muslims sin the c0r hould be able to deal with a picture of the prophet Mohammad being drawn sucking a big fat cum-drooling dick. It's only fair.

and with regard to death threats, honestly, it's all bull. it's just scare tactics that should be ignored.

It's true. Not a single Muslim has ever killed anyone.

The wording for that vote was so stupid, I wouldn't be amazed if half the people didn't know what the their vote actually meant.

Trust me HERDS of Christian churches knew damn well which meant which. But yeah there's a lot of stupid people who didn't know that no means yes and yes means no in this prop. I had a friend call me saying, "I'm voting yes yay gay rights" and I was like, "no you ing idiot vote no, the prop is trying to ban gay marriage ima betch slap u in your nipples"

This is how Muslims should protest

quote:
No bombs. No murders. No screaming fanatics shouting “Allah Akbar” as they attempt to remove someone’s head for daring to draw the Prophet Muhammed.

When the Atheists, Humanists and Agnostics association at the University of Wisconsin-Madison decided to defend the right of free speech by drawing stick figures of the Prophet Muhammed on campus sidewalks, the campus Muslim Students Association quickly responded. They followed the atheists on their blasphemous journey, and whenever a drawing of the Prophet Muhammed appeared, the Muslim students drew boxing gloves on the figure, and changed the name to Muhammed Ali.

That’s it. No fights. No hatred. Now the atheists are sparring with the college administration over the right to draw Muhammed, but that’s a different matter. Confronted with satire, the Muslim students responded with humor (yes, you could say they desecrated the atheists’ grafitti, but grafitti artists are in no position to complain). Some of their co-religionists will denounce them for not being more zealous (as in violent) in defending their faith. But I think the students gained more respect for Islam by using chalk rather than guns.

Make cartoons, not war.
