okay, just so i can say it once so all the ignorant people can finally become informed and spread the word to your ignorant circles...
Prophets are followed as exemplary citizens who received a message from God and pass the good word along to humanity. They embody the teachings and principles better than anyone else can and that's why people should aspire to practice the religion in the manner that the Prophet did, but all worship, prayers, etc. are directed to God, who is a different entity. I hope that's clear enough. And of course, some parts are open to debate like the whole pedophiliac thing, etc., but that's the general point, and why it's wrong to say he's a God. |
