The only thing keeping me back from being Vegan is that I have the hardest time in the world making lunches and it's easy to just get some cheese pizza or microwavable soy chicken nuggets.
As soon as I'm a better cook I'm sure I'll make the transition. Just a matter of time :) |

Meat and seafood are ing great. Vegetarians of the world, I have no problem if you don't want to eat meat... but don't tell me you aren't missing out on anything while you eliminate half the food spectrum from your personal menu.
It's hilarious when vegetarians make tofu that "tastes like pork" or "tastes like chicken teriyaki"... if they didn't think they were missing out on anything, they wouldn't make bunk imitations of the real thing. Kind of like the feminine looking lesbian you see with a manly bull-dyke built like a linebacker. Why be with a woman who looks like a man and uses a plastic strap-on when you could be with an actual man who has a real penis? I don't get it. :p |

Soy Delicious is ing delicious.
Have you had Daiya Vegan Cheese? It's kind of new, but ing amazingly fantastic.
Morningstar has been switching recipes to put egg as a binder in a lot of them and it makes me sad because when I go vegan I'll have to make my own stuff and not be lazy :p
Kevin, I'm not missing out on anything at all. Trust me :) |

they have Grillers Vegan now, they're good, but get a little too dry on the BBQ for my liking compared to the original (guess its the egg!)
and yes, Daiya cheese is FREAKIN AWESOME...it MELTS!!!!! well as much as it can...
When people start hanging with me and going on my foodie excursions they're usually shocked i'm into so much and know about so much great stuff. every city i'd traveled to i have at least 3-4 spots that crank out the deliciousness proper.
and i looove cooking for people! they don't expect to have a steak prepared by a vegetarian taste better than what they could or have had made for themselves.
guess thats just the sign of a true foodie--the passion is always there, no matter what kind of ingredient. I just can and can't eat some of it. But i have no fear (except Bacon but thats a seperate issue lol) |

What an incredibly ridiculous thing to say. I ate meat, cheese, and processed bull all the time after I was a swimmer and I got fat. For the past 5 weeks I've eaten vegan dishes and exercised. I've lost 21 pounds. I'm not doing it because I feel sorry for animals but it has certainly brought my cholesterol to a very manageable level and my body feels great. off with your closed minded garbage, people can eat whatever they want. The only idiots are those who judge others based on their eating habits. |

| i could never be a vegatarian (sp?). granted i don't eat meat every day; but enough during the week that i wouldn't be a fan of living w/out it. |
