i had pretty low expectations for last night and even they couldn't be met. obviously i thought that the music would be good, otherwise i wouldn't have bought a ticket, but it's not like i was expecting to lose my and have some transcendent experience at the hands of the techno wizards or anything.
i still had fun because of the company i was with, but i could have had as much fun at home, without shelling out 30 bones for a ticket. |

I expected to hear a typical villallobos set which last night was...this does not mean however that it will ALWAYS be half decent electronic music. :) |

I think that's a load of crap. So what, I should have expected some schizophrenic alter ego?! The only expectation I had was that Ricardo was going to play minimal. And if not that, as Jill pointed out, at least decent electronic music. That's it. Is that so much to ask? Instead we had whacked out wayback playbacks from the 80's.
And ing lol @ house gangsta. Maybe you should move to Chicago and buy house gangsta bandanas. |

It is too much to ask because Villallobos isn't known for doing JUST that. He's known for being all over the map. He can be known for inconsistencies...take what Jay said who's seen him the most out of anyone here I dare say. |
