If this is the case why does this policy not apply for everyone?
my friend had no issues getting his tickets.
he simply got a link to his tickets. |

| Although any promoter should ultimately be responsible for the ticket vendor they use, I'd direct your questions towards wantickets as it really sounds like they're the ones changing their minds, executing things poorly etc... I've heard a sizable pile of lame stuff about them before and requesting someone send a photocopy of license + both sides of CC via email is definitely on that pile. |

I'm waiting to hear back from Destiny in regards to my community stage application. I sent the application only a couple weeks ago. I assume the crew at destiny is super busy and therefor have not had the time to get back to me.
My concern is that they will not let me set up my gear when I get there! We have hosted a stage at the last two WEMFs, and this year our crew has grown to 40-strong. We have dropped some serious cash on big tents, A/V gear, truck rental etc.. and i have a few artists working their asses off to decorate our stage.
Does anyone have any insight as to how strict Destiny will be this year regarding renegade stages? On the WEMF site the community stage application states that the stages must be approved by destiny staff... are we gonna get screwed?
We don't mind not being on the bill, nor do we mind paying a setup fee!
Somebody please help! The Boke Lounge needs to rock WEMF again!!!! |

Renting all your gear before your stage has been approved? Smart... |

| It's the first year they require stages be approved; I can't imagine them bothering to try and implement something like that after so many years if they're weren't planning on enforcing it. I don't think it has anything to do with wanting to put the stages on the bill, either. So yea... I think you're going to get screwed. Frankly, it's your fault for investing in something that hadn't been OK'd yet. |

| In 2008 we were told to buy renegade stage passes in order to play. We did buy ours and got on the bill, but noone at the gate asked for our pass... and even though there were only a handful of stages on the bill there were a least 20 stages setup throughout he grounds. We are a large group of professional djs who are prepared with all of our gear... we have a wicked stage planned and are excited to party. IF we get a confirmed "no way" from the official destiny crew then we can get most of our money back ... assuming Canadian tire will refund our tents... |

I have being dealing with the people from want tickets for the last 2-3 weeks about getting my tickets for wemf.
I still have not received the link to print my tickets from home and worried that I might not receive them.
If I do not receive them in time what should I do? Just bring the reciept to the gates? Call someone else?
I have 8 tickets that I'm still waiting for and alot of people that are waiting for them.
thanks |

LOL, you know the last WEMF had 5000 patrons of that 300 people were under the age of 19?
Facebook stats show that less then 3% are now 18 or under. The avg age of a Destiny event is 24.
