I still have not received the link to print my tickets from home and worried that I might not receive them.
If I do not receive them in time what should I do? Just bring the reciept to the gates? Call someone else?

I have 8 tickets that I'm still waiting for and alot of people that are waiting for them.

thanks

Can anyone from the wemf admin answer this question?
I still have not received my tickets and the want ticket people have gone silent.

What should I do if I do not get my tickets?

If you don't get a response from either and you didn't buy them too long ago, I'd have the CC company retract payment. Save your emails and use them as proof you paid for something not received.

OS2:

Now that we have physical printed copy of tickets (ie. dont need to deal w/ Willcall), do we still have to have original credit card purchased ticket with?

I just realized ive gotten a new mastercard since then (ie. my last 4 digits dont match to whats on my ticket anymore) ... its the same mastercard though.

Can you weigh in on this? (if its even a concern)

Very iffy to be honest lol. Has nothing to do with WEMF though, it has to do with the trek and situations that happened on the way to and from WEMF in 2008 haha! Long story, but very interesting haha

Dammmn how'd I not see the TOTA crew there.

ing wicked WEMF! Been going since '04 and this was one of the best. The two main stages were the best Destiny's put together so far. That Tower of Destiny was the best thing I've seen in on this side of the Atlantic.

Friday was the better of the two nights for me. Skrillex was a huge surprise. I really am not into Dubstep, but I went with an open mind and really got into his set, the guy's got skills. I seriously couldn't leave the stage, my legs were killing me, I'd try to walk away, but that damn Tower would just suck me back in haha.

Infected Mushroom was crazy, first time I've seen them, somehow everytime I've wanted to go in the past something got screwed up. Amazing set, so much energy. And they switched things up here and there, wasn't only psy/goa trance. Pretty damn awesome.

The Time Stage had awesome lighting, some of the DJ's were good, some of them were a joke.

The chick spinning on Friday night was hot but spent more time dancing around and playing with her hair then she did the equipment. Trainwrecked up a storm too.

The guy before Infected Mushroom, I think Calvin Harris, ughh I wanted to hang myself. Every track sounded exactly the same, and like it was from 8 years ago. The set could have even been prerecorded. He barely touched the equipment, and when he did, it was turn the filter knob. Every track had these extra long snare rolls into a cheesy, early 2000's hook. And then he played Sandstorm. :nervous:

I didn't see all of Christopher Lawrence's set cuz I was exhausted at that point but the first half hour was pretty damn sick. He never disappoints though.

Mad props to Destiny for bringing it back. I think the three year break was a great thing for WEMF. Styles of music have changed quite a lot and the break gave WEMF a chance to come back with a new set of genres without it being a 'shock'. Definately drew a huge crowd, by Saturday night the camping area was PACKED. Any word on how many in attendence?

Had a blast, can't wait for next year!!

Nice job OV & OS2!

nice quick review rob and happy to hear you had fun! hopefully next years lineup will actually be good and warrant a $250 ticket. id like to return myself but not worth all the money id spend to see about 4 DJ's id enjoy this year.

rob how did you like the venue itself overall?

It was the same venue as 2008. It's a great one. There are pictures of the map on the WEMF website, it's a good layout, everything is spaced out enough so the sound doesnt overlap at any of the stages.

BTW, it was only $250 if you waited til last minute. I paid $150 for my ticket. I got it a few days after they went on sale.

i couldnt make 2008 and i wouldnt have paid 150 for that lineup either personally. not enough DJs for my personal EDM taste.

Had an absolute blast at WEMF this year.

WEMF was just as incredible as I remembered it from 2008.

Favourite act was Mark EG's surprise battle set w Grimace at the Bar Starz stage like 2 hours or so after he finished at Center Stage.

Thank you to Mart McFly for texting me that he was on, or I would never have known! It wasnt on the roaster. His antics were awesome, I especially liked the duct tape fight he started with the crowd, lol.

Pendulum and Stanton Warriors were sick, the visuals at the Tower of Destiny were increidble! Danced my ass off to music that isnt even up my alley normally.

Rob G summaried the set up and grounds nicely.

Only set I really regret missing was Lady Bass. I heard she really ing killed it!!

Looking forward to WEMF next year - fingers crossed that we get another. :D

Thanks Destiny for an absolutely INCREDIBLE weekend once again! You've been missed these past 3 years!
