I agree with this- Howard's great. And I hate Lebron but he's a better player than D Rose... he's the best all around player in the league. No slight on Rose who is an unbelievable talent, but I want my point guard to be more of a distributer, not taking 30 shots a game. Without Rose in the lineup, Chicago's overall team numbers barely change... without Lebron in the lineup, Miami averages like 7 points less per game.

this is true but we're talking about the MVP of the league, not just how valuable they are to their respective team. I think a lot of the voters get swayed by that stuff... which explains why Kobe only has 1 MVP and Steve Nash has 2. Kobe is the best player since Jordan and the guy has 1 MVP!? Crazy.
