My mistake, he finished 2nd to Dwight Howard in 2009. Regardless, a guy who is just a monster who stands under the basket and racks up blocks doesn't deserve defensive player of the year anyways.
Either way, Lebron is one of the best on-ball defenders in the league every single year, so I don't know where you're getting this "awful one-on-one defender" nonsense. |

in my opinion, lebron's defense is ok for a guy his size. he uses his body frame as an advantage against other guys, and outmuscles for position.
as for his offense, as much as people talk about how many points he scores, he's a 3 trick pony (rainbow jumpshot, run in the paint hoping for a call, fast break). that's about it. call me when he develops a post game. |

He's too fast to need a post game. |

true, but he's aging. you take away that quickness, and what do you have? :o
you would think with bron's body frame he would easily develop a couple of post moves. |

He's 26. It's not like he's 35. |

That's the greatest thing about Lebron James is his size and quickness. He's a lot different than Rondo, who is just a speed devil, James is big and practically can't be guarded when he's on his game. When you have both, why would you choose one over the other? |

these days, 26 is the new 33. a lot of athletes get past their prime peak years too quickly, and crash and burn before they're 30. |

Wrong. Winner of Spurs/Memphis will play the winner of the Thunder/Nuggets series. So it'll be Spurs/Thunder in the second round. Which will be a damn difficult series. Hopefully Portland knocks off Dallas and gives LA a tough round.
Boston has universally owned Orlando. No way in Hell is Orlando beating Boston. Even after that trade. |

| meh bad brackets. still don't see boston getting far and i think orlando is going to erupt in the playoffs |
