And to think acquiring Deron without an extension is a smart move? Look don't be mad when Deron and CP3 want to come to the garden because of melo, stat, and chauncey.

And more so, what if Rose decides to leave chicago because Boozer/Noah isn't the best 'star power' in the league. Granted they have their own major city right now so I recognize all they are doing (including rose) over there.

If you also want to think Chauncey is past his prime then keep thinking that but I tell you this now, once Chauncey and Amare work enough minutes together, that pick and roll combo with the melo option will work wonders on any defense out there. Last resort, Chauncey breaking backs from behind the arc.

As much as I've been excited about Melo, I kept extremely quiet about how much I wanted Chauncey. He's going to fit in real nice and I expect him to be well received in such a large metropolitan city.

The garden is rocking, prudential center not so much.

I think maybe you reconsider this.

Gerald Wallace is now a Blazer.

And now:

"Just before Thursday's 3 p.m. ET trade deadline, the Boston Celtics agreed to ship center Kendrick Perkins and guard Nate Robinson to the Oklahoma City Thunder for swingman Jeff Green and big man Nenad Krstic, two league sources told ESPN.com's Chad Ford on Thursday."

Wow.

This I don't understand. Maybe I am not familiar with a nuance of NBA trade that make this good deal.

this deal was due to boston getting the news marquis daniels is going to be out the year. wow. who would have thought daniels would swing a major trade like this? :conf:

also, am disappointed in the celtics for giving up on perkins too soon. he has a lot of upside, and could be the future of the celtics along with rondo once garnett, pierce, and allen retire.

now the celtics have a similar problem the knicks do. they don't have a legitimate big man in the middle with perkins, erden, and harangody gone. the oneals are hurting at the moment. looks like baby davis is going to log some serious minutes now until when jermaine oneal comes back.

// edit

apologies. the celtics also dealt daniels. wow they must feel really confident running an 8 man rotation.

Marquis Daniels is no reason to trade away your starting center.

Jeff Green is up-and-down as a player. Time will tell, I guess.

Chris Bosh, ONE FOR EIGHTEEN from the field. He scored one field goal. If he was even 4/18 (which is still hideously bad), the Heat win that game.

i do agree with that, but Boston must have received word Perkins is not going to be at the same level he once was before his knee injury.

anyways, true jeff green is up and down, but a definite upgrade over daniels as a backup for pierce.

boston trading all their big men must mean either they're in serious talks with a rasheed wallace comeback, or they're close to a deal for troy murphy.

hey infinity...i saw a tsn story about the raptors players commenting on the heat players crying.

my question to you is: Do the Raptors have one guy on the team that can actually speak english? It scares me to think that these guys actually have college degrees. Jesus, there is ebonics, and there is just plain gooblygook.

lol you ask this as if I work with the team and know them all personally. Pretty sure guys like Demar can speak English. Don't know about the Euros though...

edit: k I just watched what you're talking about...you must be talking about Sonny Weems :stongue: wtf is that negro talkin bout
Zyklon_Jay

Fixed the title, as I'm believing in the Heat less and less as the season continues. :sadgreen:

I think its becoming clear that the Heat Experiment isn't working out as well as expected. The team cannot win close games, but they should have expected egos would eventually get in the way.

If they don't win the championship I think we'll see Bosh moved.
