The nba does have the least variation in champions over the last ten years.
NBA - 5 different champions
NHL - 9 different champions
MLB - 9 different champions
NFL - 7 different champions
CFL - 6 different champions - even a league with only 8 teams has more variation in champions then the NBA. |

all the trading and roster changes in the nba has made it quite obvious the lakers won't win it this year. i do not believe in any way they stand a chance against the heat if it came to a final of that caliber.
celtics embarrassed themselves tonight by beating the wolves by only 3 points. orlando coming back from a 10 point deficit to win by 20 = sex. they're looking fine as wine as of late, i hope it continues, all the new guys are getting comfortable. arenas getting into his agent zero groove slowly, the guy sunk a ing sick three pointer at the end of the 3rd |

Im sure tmac would be the only one happy about this trade. He's done for and should go play in China by next season.
Knicks? They played descent during a weak schedule in the weakest conference. Nevertheless they are an upgrade from previous seasons but far from contenders in the East.
Mavs were looking great until the recent injuries. That being said we are not at the half-way mark yet and so there's still alot of basketball left to be played. |

| Yeah, so Caron Butler's out for the season. That's tough on the Mavs, this will definitely hurt their chances in the playoffs. They need all the firepower they can get. |
