I wasn't put up for adoption.
My mother got cancer and was hospitalized for about a half a year. Instead of putting me into the care of my family right away, they put me into foster care until they went to court to decide who would gain custody (or temporary custody) of me. |
so nobody wanted you..... |

Cancer huh? Genetic weakness and you should have been aborted. Your kind are poisoning the herd. |

So you're saying that shouldn't have happened, and you should have been left under your mother's care? |

But if people don't give their kids up for adoption, what kids are you going to adopt? Haven't you mentioned many times that you would adopt kids or are pro-adoption or some ? |
this explains a lot....

-I was in foster care for a period of time when I was about 8-9 years old. The foster parents were useless. We lived out on a farm in the middle of butt nowhere, and the woman was so obese that she wasn't even capable of fitting up the stairs to get to the bedrooms where the foster children were.
-I was not allowed to play more than 10 feet outside of the house perimeter.
-I literally became a prisoner. |

On the contrary. My family actually refused to leave the children's aid office without me, but I guess because they thought my mom was going to die, they needed to start the court process and leave me in a neutral place.
To be honest, I am not 100% sure why they did what they did, but I know there was a court battle over me by my family. They of course won and I remained with my grandparents until my mother had recovered enough for me to go home. |

Not at all. Not sure how you came to that conclusion.
Being put into foster care because of extenuating circumstances is entirely different than voluntarily putting your child up for adoption. |

man that would never happen in a normal family. someone would step upin a second to take custody until it is decided who would take proper care of me.
your family sucks theresa. |

| Being sick isn't a good excuse for not taking care of one's own children. If you can't hack it, you just shouldn't have had them in the first place. |

People don't get forced into foster care just because their parents are going to die, lol.
Obviously you had parents/family...because child and protective services exist for the purpose of intervening when a child's basic needs cannot be met/they are at risk of abuse/etc. And that's pretty ty if one hospitalization meant your ing family somehow couldn't take care of you properly.
So yeah, you should have been aborted. |

I presume you're being facetious to make a point. However your point is lost because I am not trying to suggest that kids shouldn't be put up for adoption when people are dying.
Anyway, once again I have learned my lesson about sharing personal information. Gotta love the people on these forums. |
