you mean to tell me that ticketmaster, a huge company that rapes everyone on fees does not have in place a way to check whether or not a person has ordered tickets twice? In terms of going through, do you mean like a review of all SHM transactions, potentially 10,000 orders of 2 tickets to see if the same CC appears?

That would be NICE if they released more, but I have the feeling I am going to have the same problem. I think my only hope is the second show.
I would buy from stubhub because $$$ isn't the issue since I am flying out getting a room etc etc. But just giving my money to the scalpers makes me sick.
And now I am kinda getting over it like many of my friends... |

if you've already bought your flight/hotel I'd suggest skipping SHM completely and just go to the REAL party, CLR/BLKMKT. The way SHM preforms is more like a concert series I mean they put on a dope show no question but the real deal this night will be CLR. I do anticipate a cluster and I'm sure BLKMKT is planning on it, especially with that line up! |

Nothing is booked yet because I was trying to lock in tickets first.
I was planning on going back to NYC one last time this year and this would have worked out perfectly since I missed EZ.
Oh well maybe they have a second date or something else comes up... |

I saw them at the IZOD Center this past Monday and they were AWESOME. Played for about 3 hours and did a 6 song encore, the first 4 were just Dave all acoustic. If you can, go!
And by the way, $900 for floor seats for SHM?!?!?! They can off, that's disgusting, abusive and goes against everything the scene has ever stood for. I hope a stage light falls on Angello's head. |

Would love to see Foo Fighters. To be fair, I got floor seats for $90, including fees. It's not SHM's fault that prices in the resale market are so high. Although SHM was charging $300 for a premium seat with a lanyard and memorabelia. And no, the lanyard doesn't get you back stage...So basically an extra $160 (seat was $140) for a t shirt and useless thing around your neck. |

I don't blame them completely, but they shouldn't get off scott free either. Our Foo tix $68 (great seats too) as were the GA seats. They played for 3 hours, three hours of LIVE MUSIC and Kris Novaselic even showed up for God's sake.
SHM is charging $300 for premium seating, a tee shirt and a ing laminated lanyard??? Holy ! Get me 7! I saw Kings of Leon at the Garden two years ago for $50, 4 rows off the side of the stage. I'm sorry, but this isn't good for the scene, at all. More power to them though. |
