If this does go down, it will be super expensive. If Deadmau5 is 81 in Hartford for floor and 61 for seats, I could see floor being over 200 here. Even the WWE charges significantly higher at MSG then ANYWHERE else in the country to cover the costs of renting the place. |
If anything I can say is that the SHM have always kept their ticket prices on the low scale. For their first show i only paid $15 and for Miami this year I believe $30, maybe less. They honestly do listen to what their fans have to say and all their complaints. If for some crazy chance it does cost $200 for floor seats, I can almost guarantee they will have have an insane lineup and at the end of the show it would be the best $200 spent. |

| It was an Area Event. Tickets sold through Wantickets. SHM sent out an email last week that they have everyone's email who bought tickets through them. They will be sending those people an email next week. |

at this point in time in regards to where the EDM scene is - this has become a place to discuss all types of dance music. and i think that's pretty awesome. |

And I think he'd be 100% correct.
I've really opened up to a lot of different genres this year... techno, proggy house, etc. However, hanging out at a BBQ this summer with a bunch of house people, most of them pretty much talked down about any other EDM genre that was out there. |

It's a great quote. I talked to a no-name house DJ in Miami during Music Week and when he asked me what I was in the city for I told him "mostly the trance events." He told me (in a very arrogant way) that Trance was "what all the house kids used to listen to before they grew up." Such a snobby ing answer... I wanted to slap the kid in the ing mouth.
As much as I love techno, breaks, a lot of the house subgenres, and a bunch of stuff inbetween... trance for life. |
