will the floor tickets or seated tix be the pricier ones?
cant for the life of me imagine why someone would want to sit down... |

I wish I could bring myself to go to something like this. I used to be such a big fan of Axwell, Ingrosso, Prdyz and Angello since they all started. And then when the trio did an official SHM thing it started out good for the first year and half or so, but ever since One and they crossed in to pop / mainstream they really have been sounding like dog.
The last two parties of theirs I went to, I said the same thing. The music isn't my favorite but they throw a hell of a party. I'm sure they'll throw a hell of a party still but their style has turned into nails on a chalkboard for me and that's hard to ignore. |

Tickets for the Madison Square Garden show on Friday, December 16th,
2011 go on sale next Friday, September 30th, 2011 at 10:00am EST and
will be available online at www.livenation.com, www.ticketmaster.com,
charge by phone at 800.745.3000, and at select Ticketmaster outlets.
There will be a 24-hour fan pre-sell through the Swedish House Mafia
Facebook page on Thurs. Sep. 29th, starting at 10:00am EST.
However from 10am on Wednesday 28th September until 10am on the 30th,
SHM Originals will have exclusive access to tickets before anyone
else. SHM Originals are fans that were there from the very
beginning: the New York M2 show in February 2010. These fans will be
mailed on Saturday 24th September with a unique code as a thank you
for their continued support. |

This is a great concept, and I applaud them for doing it! |

| What I'm trying to figure out now if the lower level tix will be GA or assigned seating. Either way will probably lead to problems. Friends not being seated by each other and people from upper levels trying to sneak down. |

I took a look at the new MSG layout - Foo Fighters released the setup for their next show there and the whole floor is GA. Hoping this is the same. |

Thanks. Just saw it. Definitely going to try to do floor seats. I don't think it makes a difference for a regular concert. But for an EDM event, we need to be able to dance.
Update: Just searched SHM at ticketmaster. They have what i think is the setup they are going to use for the lower level. Which is GA for the front half. The middle has three sections (probably seated). And the back lower part also three sections (probably VIP). |
