We were in section 116 and it was really good actually. no one sat down and you had a great view of the visuals, but we were pretty close to the stage in the lower section row 11. Not sure how i'd feel if i was in the nosebleeds tho.

Amazing show - very glad we went! Roseland too - except the line was insane and their crowdcontrol wasnt great at first, but they fixed it.. moved pretty quick but still. we got in 30 min before SHM went on, so that worked out well.

Nice, looking around the place from the floor looked crazy. Totally surrounded by a bunch of crazy dancing people with glow and lights from phones/cameras was a sight to see.

this looks like a great show & I feel like I missed out. the only thing I know about these guys is their 'save the world' song which I know about only cause I was introduced to it by an afrojack, commercial crap-loving girl I dated over the summer. seems like these guys put on a good show.

however, the stream captures a lot of angles & it seems better to enjoy it that way than actually being there in some crappy seats..I'd catch these guys next time though. they play the kind of stuff I like now since I haven't been feeling trance this year..

how have you avoided them for so long? i feel like they hit you over the head with all their stuff whether it's one or miami to ibiza. plus you have the productions not under the shm name which trance DJs have been playing for years. either way, if you like them i suggest downloading their 2008 essential mix and the one from 2010 which won mix of the year.

they absolutely rocked the place. :tongue3

i had a good time in section 102 - my only complaint would be that there was not enough bass(at least where i was sitting) the highs were very loud.

All I can say is that each show gets bigger and better. The GA standing room only was an experience I probably won't ever forget.

Walking out of the lower tunnel on to the floor I seriously felt like a NY Knick. People giving my friends and I high fives as we walked towards the GA area. Unbelievable!!

lol same here. It was unbelievable. I love how they didn't pack it in like sardines either and you had plenty of room to throw shapes.

this. we can all agree that shows/sets/clubs/festivals w.e are the best when everyone there somewhat understands the music and appreciates it. and while many SHM fans 10 year old wannabes, the atmosphere at MSG was electric and everybody was there to party and have a great time.

This review makes me feel like this was the 9th circle of Hell. Some of my favorite quotes were:

"Supremely smooth mixing kept the crowd's energy high throughout the show, with an almost constant bassline driving the set. To add to the continuity, the DJs would allow a song to percolate below the surface before bringing it to center stage" - YES!!! Because this a such a novel concept when it comes to DJing. Thank god someone finally entered this uncharted frontier.

"The mezzanine level featured "pop-up" bottle service hosted by Manhattan hotspot Provocateur, making the event feel much more like an impromptu party than a heavily orchestrated concert." - I just can't....LOL. "Pop-Up"...yes because the last thing I expect at a club/party is bottle service options.
