I'm sure the venue is huge, but what are the chances of buying tickets to flip them and profit out of them?

Doubtful. MSG is massive. Acts like U2, Bon Jovi, Kanye will sell it out, but SHM is not at that level. Although I could be wrong. I was yesterday when Avicii sold out NYE within hours of going on sale and crashed the ClubTickets server.
Floor seats, however, will always sell at a profit.

floor seats will be gone in less than a minute... the entire venue within a day. Avicii sold out more than 5,000 tickets in 2 hours. I'd say Swedish has a bigger following than aveech, wouldn't you?

NYE had a lot to do with Avicii selling out so fast. SHM has a huge fan base, and you may be right, but selling out MSG is no easy task. In my opinion, this show will be a blast on the floor but not in the seats. Guess we better be on ticketmaster the second these go on sale.

So much hate on this forum for dj's like SHM, Afrojack, etc. They play what the crowd likes and what makes people dance, theirs a time and place for different genres and to say they are below a DJ like armin because they play a different style is just stupid.

SHM has the best marketing team ever. it'll be interesting to see how much they can fill MSG and how the event turns out. it would be sick if they some sort of circular stage right in the middle of the flood rather than at the ends.
