heard it live at new years, like i said before some of the stuff he played that night was good, like this, and some was borderline sleeping elevator music. hopefully its just the good stuff for the album.

Looks like you'll be busy with this one. Can't imagine this is his work, faithful Charlie gets the short end once more.

I thought that he moved away from working with Charlie a while back. would be nice if Charlie did have a hand in it. And doesn't anyone who works with tiesto get the short end too? not that it stops them anyways

so i take it that this has been seen by all and sundry?
this is... awesome!!
amazed frankly it would live up to the hype you'd expect. very interested in the album.
but the second 'beatless' cd can off. kind of spoils it for me. i'd rather a nice single cd, or something else. like the unmixed tracks, or the original, non-sasha involv3r remixes - unmixed, or even mixed would be interesting.
are these full remixes, or album reworks ala pvd's TPOD reworks for politics?
it's out in less than two weeks.

No one forced Charlie to basically make sasha's tracks. It just made him more money in the long run. Unfortunately, in this business the name sells much more than the song, and back then that was really true.

rest assured, he will be working with the best producers. so is it really important?! this is his project after all.
pre-ordered this sucker for £9... it's rare for a big-event release in dance music these days, so why not.
one thing i noticed was the (relatively) high BPM of smalltalk. it is sitting in the middle of the mix, so that leads me to believe that it wont be a slow-ass boring affair.
it was the single i heard, so it could be pitched down in the mix of course, but i doubt it would be much if any, and sitting in the middle, it leaves time for the pace to picked up anyway.

As i said many times before. Sasha has not been in the forefront for a very long time. He's way outdated. I haven't been following him for years and he's a shadow of the 90's Sasha we all know.
Don't get my words wrong, he's still one of the reasons i got into electronic music. He's still iconic in my ears.
But still...
Why should we care who is or is not in the "forefront"?
I'll get it if it's good, I won't if it's not.

rubez
