as a bunch of vocal remixes put together by team sasha and mixed together - well there are a few nice tunes on there.
as a continuous peice of music put together by a master of the art form that invol<3s me on a journey for an hour or so - its pretty average. |

It ended up sounding generic because Sasha remixed every track. Just like PvD's Politics of Dancing series, this ends up making every track just sound the same. It totally kills the vibe of the album, no matter how well produced every individual track is.
With that said, I enjoyed listening to the album, and I liked Battleships a lot. |

| I personally like it. Maybe it'll grow on me a bit, but I already like it more than #2. I think it's impossible to beat the first one though. |

the production values are amaing in this.
the beatless cd is junk. there shouldn't have been vocals in it, ruins the chill vibe.
instead, for the bonus cd, a straight copy of the main mix - but instrumental, would have been ing amazing - still kepping the little vocals snippets and teases, but cutting the singing. it's too much.
the opening track is outstanding, smalltalk is awesome, as is battleships. wine is great and healing is possibly the best track.
the unmixed tracks let you appreciate the mastery of the production values much more. lots of little effects and tricks.
still can't help feeling the proflific use of vocals spoils it, gives it a pop edge even.
again, an instrumental mix would have elevated this to the best thing in years. don't agree it sounds like one big track. there are a good few different styles and contrasts. |

I love progressive house but not type.It sounds a very amateurish and doesn't go anywhere.I don't hear any passion in any tracks. It would be ideal for background noise not something you wanna dance to though. Nothing memorable in this either. |

I think you either have to have gone clubbing a bunch, or you have to have done a ton of drugs to really connect with DJ Sasha. His pace is kinda slow, and it won't make sense otherwise. Just my opinion.
Fyi, I've gone clubbing a lot. |

Certainly wasn't always the case. I had done neither when I "connected" with him in the early 2000s... |
