Yea cause we are totally intentionally killing children over there.

How many drone pilots do you know in real life?

I know quite a few and I can tell you they are not blood thirsty maniacs. They have a job to do, they have a feeling of responsibility to their country (and I know pilots from multiple countries, so its not just a rah rah murca thing either) and when they are providing CAS they have a connection with the men and women on the ground they are helping out.

It sucks random non-combatants get killed, but thats how the die is cast sometimes. Could we do better? Probably. Should we? Yes. Can we? I think we try our hardest to, but sometimes it just doesn't work out.

The explosives were made of 6-litre pressure cookers packed with shards of metal, nails and ball bearings and placed in black duffel bags on the ground, a person briefed on the investigation said Tuesday.

:wtf:

These types of pressure cooker explosives have been used in Afghanistan, India, Nepal and Pakistan, according to a July 2010 joint FBI and Homeland Security intelligence report. One of the three devices used in the May 2010 Times Square attempted bombing was a pressure cooker, the intelligence report said.

You can use pressure cookers to increase the relative pressure of the blast, which is helpful in propelling projectile fragmentation. It is a way to use low grade explosives in a more effective manner.

Also lol that people doubted me when I said the explosives looked crude/low intensity... Pretty easy to tell from looking at the blasts that there wasn't a massive concussive force in the explosions. The point was the fling frag and shrapnel around to cause wounding, and it sadly did just that. :(

Did someone suffocate you and forget to finish the job, leaving you a blithering idiot, or did you have something intelligent you wanted to add?

He was being callous, saying Eddie was overreacting when he explained his mother was shot and he kept spewing nonsense. Should Nou tell someone to man up because losing someone in a terrorist attack "is no big deal", then I'd give him das boot for being downright offensive; same if he implied a TA was involved and tried to "punish" them here with verbal abuse. However, I've always been quite tolerant when it comes to voicing unorthodox opinions, even if they're unpleasant... and I don't intend to change it now.

You've added all the intelligence we could possibly need to this thread.
