I dont know, They took out quite a few cops last night.
if they are very amateurish that makes US authorities look even worse. |

The older (now deader) brother is supposed to have made trips to the homeland before, though. And had just recently flown back to the US from Chechnya. There might have very well been a plot brewed by some organization in Chechnya with ties to Al Qaeda, but the Islamophobia is probably very undue. Still, confirming people's confirmation bias is a good drug. |

I had posted an article last night, unfortunately New York Times took it down this morning. There was a large gunfight at one point where these kids started tossing pipe bombs at officers and while the officers were stunned they jumped back into the SUV and ran a few cops over.
I'm sure half of the rumors I was hearing off of twitter and off of media sources were bull, but it was sounding a lot like the movie HEAT last night.
Unfortunately, a lot of those articles and videos have been taken down. |

That didn't happen. There was NOTHING on the scanners about anyone being ran over, or pipe bombs. There was a grenade thrown, as well as a couple of small pressure-cooker bombs. Suspect 2 fled on foot for awhile and was pinned by the Charles River and then was lost afterward (until he hijacked the car) |

gotcha I was going by an article in the new york times. I had posted it in this thread but if you click on it now it brings you to a wayyyy different article. Must have been a bull story they published and then taken down when they found out it was bs.
Canadian CNN just reports something happened somewhere back with sports after this commercial break. And then they break to a beaver and beer commerical. |

Which as you well know is part of Russia.
They said on NPR this morning he was in Chechnya *shrug* I don't give a . We don't know enough, yet, to make any conclusions.
Despite what the NYPost and CNN debacles should have shown us, people are still happy to speculate. |
