Yes, because this tragic event is clearly about your worldview.

Well, someone is going to advance an agenda with this, it might as well be one that is for the good of society (in shaming libertarianism) than for the worse.

ty world we live in, but thems the breaks.

By your rationale, the New Atheists should blame religious extremists right off the bat. Or religious libertarian extremists, if you want to have it your way as well.

Just wait before you jump to conclusions, mate. I know it's not your goal, but this is really in poor taste :(

Everyone will be blaming everyone till the truth comes out. The point is right now you can get in the heads of those that are not that smart and go off their first reaction, and if you can implant the association of libertarian with "Boston bombing" then they will continue to make that association.

Its basic propaganda and it works on a sad number of people.

No, no one is blaming anyone yet. People died, children lost limbs, and we're still hurt. Jumping to conclusions will only make things worse.

Just trust us on this one, Nou. Even if you believe libertarians did it, hold your guns and wait to see if your suspicions are confirmed.
Sleightful
This is just crazy. Lot of reports of people losing limbs and being taken to the hospital in critical condition. Attacking a political or military target is one thing, but a marathon? Of course it'll inspire a hell of a lot of fear into the populace, but this is absolutely tragic. I can't imagine what those Newtown people feel like.

And now of course the veteran intelligence analysts on Twitter and Facebook are starting to post their theories...

Well lets look at the facts so far that could lend credence to the fact that it is possibly (probably) domestic right wing terrorists.

First off:

It is Monday, April 15th, 2013. Tax day. This is a symbolic day in the radical anti-government groups because they feel it is a day representing the repression and totalitarian nature of the US Government in collecting income tax. There is a long history of terrorism directed against the IRS, including crashing airplanes into buildings and bombings.

Second:

As in that Atlantic article:

quote:
Update 4:07 p.m.: Newtown families were reportedly seated in the VIP section right by where the explosions went off. There's no word whether they are among the 23 injured and two dead from the explosions.

Third:

The style of bombings and the size of the blasts indicate crude home-made explosive devices. Probably pipe bombs in backpacks filled with metal fragments (nails, bolts, nuts, etc). This is a hallmark of previous radical domestic terrorists.

Right now its enough for me to start laying blame, or at least taking concern with the rise of libertarianism and classical liberal ideology in the US. It is a threat not only to our society, but to the world.

It's not about your stupid religion. This is clearly domestic terrorists associated with anti-tax pro-gun ideology attacking the US on Tax Day against the victims and relatives of Sandy Hook Elementary.
