News Corp owns The New York Post. News Corp owns Fox News. Fox News is the mouth piece for radical right groups. They are trying to shift the blame and prevent any sort of backlash.

I think Nou wants another ban.

Only this time instead of using the free time away from TA to move out, he wants to lose his virginity and then post pictures about it when he's able to come back.

Feel sorry for the dead and injured.

But I completely hate news outlets talking about possible retaliation against countries, and just minutes after the attack.

Lira, didn't you ban Mattsanity for insensitively pushing his personal agenda in the raw aftermath of a tragedy? They're still scraping children's fingers out of the gutter and here is Nou being an utter cunt for the billionth time in his miserable attention-starved little life, and all you say is "Let it go, mate"?

The reason I suspended Mattsanity was not for insensitively pushing his personal agenda but because, when Eddie Zilker told him to stop because it was getting personal, he acted in complete disregard. Up to that point, I was telling him to sod off and be quiet, as I did afterwards when the suspension was lifted.

I hear the winner won by 3 minutes 25 seconds, 2 fingers and an arm.

It pays to be slow.

Too soon? :o

Didn't the bombs go off at over 4 hours?
OrangestO
Please rephrase your question, sir.

Yea, I am not going to make personal attacks on people (why would I, I think this event is horrible, I feel for the victims, it should not have happened).

Actually someone I know had about 20 people in the area for the marathon as his parents own a running shoe store and are heavily involved in the US marathon scene. If the blasts had been a few hours earlier it would have probably killed people he knew.

Think so. Seems the faster runners were already finished.
I think that might have been a good thing as much of the crowd may have moved on. Very very sad but could have been much worse.

I thought I saw pictures of explosions a little after 4 hours, which is a rather slow time, competitively speaking. People who finished first had already been finished for over an hour before the explosions, so it was slower runners who were passing when they went off.
OrangestO
Four hours is still a fast time.

I think the fastest time was 3:20, give or take a few.

MOST people running aren't coming close to that mark, so I'm assuming that being one of the many people that can't run that fast in this instance was a so-called blessing.

OT:

The news cycle is the news cycle.

Bombs will blast. Guns will go off. People will pass.

It's sad that it has to be this way, but it is.
