That's the first result if you google Chechnya. ing Fox News.
quote:
But congressional researchers and foreign policy analysts have long tracked a connection between the Chechnya region and Islamic extremists with Al Qaeda and the Taliban. If the suspects are indeed Chechen, analysts told Fox News they may represent part of a jihadi network which has made its way to American soil.

But it is all true. Obviously the media (and Fox News is particular) wants to hop on the Muslim Extremist Terror Network bandwagon as soon as possible, because it keeps Americans frothing.
These kids were obviously amateurs, though. Low grade explosives with nails and ball bearings? Knocking off a 7/11 in an escape spree?
srussell0018
Exactly. They obviously have nothing to do with al Qaeda whatsoever. They've probably never even been to Chechnya before.
Banora
Yeah, and why the did they remain in Boston this whole time? Why wait in the city you bombed when no one knew who you were or what you looked like?
srussell0018
If they had ties to any Islamic extremist group, they would have A) probably killed themselves in the attack, and B) left the area, and probably the country immediately afterwards.
