| pauls set was fantastic. i nearly died when i heard majai - phoria (elevation remix). he was playing trance from start to finish and it went over with the crowd very well, which was kind of surprising because the crowd seemed to be a mix of older pvd fans and many rage/plur/bassface people ;p |

I'll echo something I posted earlier and what some others my age posted.
I've been at this a long time and have hit parties all over the globe.
Sunday was way up there.
The energy was outstanding with zero attitude - The weather was perfect.
And Paul just brought something out from the past.
This is one that will sit with me for a long time and I hope he gets to see the feedback from everyone and plays this way every time he comes through NY as well as plays this way for others.
When he does it like he did on Sunday it is special.
We know you have to make tracks sound a certain way to make money and that is fine but when you settle in behind the rig you are not playing for the radio anymore. He understood that Sunday......
It was ing awesome!
Close to 40yrs old and if I know he will play that way every time I'll go till I am 70 and beyond....
My right calf is still barking at me from dancing - I love this ! |
Echoed 1000x |

It should - He was dropping BOMBS at the 9:30pm - 10:30pm hour - BOMBS. Me an my buddy, another long time vet, were looking at each other like HOLY were we transported......
My wife hadn't been out to see him since the pier - She had had enough but she came with me Sunday and at one point I went to get a carton of milk (water) and I saw her dancing pretty hard - She's a Phish head and jam band girl and she was getting down....
^^ Awesome and I am smiling all over again at this vision of this..... |

So funny, my crew and I are going through the SAME thing.. it's amazing... to know that there are others out there, with similar paths (Twilo days .... 50+ shows, traveling to see him, etc)... is phenomenal... The guy was on another level... 15 min in.. I was like... can he keep this up?? And the rest is history |
