even tho the majority of the tracks he played is kinda older stuff
its still good trance. 2 years ago he kept the trance to a minimum
that what my reason for skipping him this year
glad you all had fun tho

Wow is all I can say, I'm just so glad I went to catch PVD yesterday. The last few times I saw him play over the last few years weren't great.

But last night.. :eyes:

The man played all melodic trance, and I realized why I fell in love with his music when I started out on the scene. It didn't make me nostalgic or anything, just fkg happy that he was playing like this right now, a PVD set like it should be and like so many people like myself wanted. It was pure PVD, Zero electro bs or SHM crap. I was just in awe, at times I stopped to take it in, the lights blending with the choice tracks he was spinning. He played quite a few tracks that sound like his new productions, didn't recognize any of them, I really hope a tracklist shows up soon.

Best show I've seen from pvd in fkg years, very very thankful for it.

All i can say is wow.

Ive been doing this a long time, im almost 40 and been going to PVD shows since '98.

Ive caught him at loveparade berlin, casino, XXL, etc etc and that was one of his best sets ever. He was totally connected with the crowd and everyone was feeling it. No fights, no agression, no zombied out kids that couldnt handle themselves - just a few thousand people loving the music.

You dont get too many nights like this anymore in NYC and im glad i was there to experience it. The VIP service was kinda cut rate but the music made up for it.

Outside of the residency at twilo a lot of people think his monday night show at vinyl after 9/11 was one of his best ever. I'm all for PVD on school nights. The crowds better and he always comes through.

I really hope this set was recorded. I just want to hear it again already.

I know the feeling man. I'm sitting here at work playing it back in my head and wishing I could set back the clock, so I can experience last night's show all over again. What an awesome surprise for those of us going in expecting something mediocre from him because of how he's been playing in his recent sets. I can only pray that he plays like this again next time he's in NY!

Seen him over 50 times and the last few years have been pretty poor. I went in with zero expectations yesterday and was blown away. Just proves that when he wants to be, he's still untouchable.
