| Lets all chip in 5 bucks a piece and get it viral and see if we can come up with enough to get him to come back this Sunday and do it all over again.... |

the change is bad yaddie yaddie yaddah.
yolo crowds BLAH.
sound like bunch of people stuck in the past.
I'm sorry but the world keeps on moving and no one is willing to listen to same old music.
The djs have to produce music that is more appealing to the large crowd in order to make money.
If you charge people $10-$20 at a venue, mine as well throw backyard party at their houses and charge $5.
Theres reason why armin and tiesto is still popular and known all over the world.
If they didn't change their style i'm pretty sure they would still be playing somewhere underground.
*BTW Loved the energy PVD was playing and so hard to see any dj play 6hr set. |

I could have sworn that there has not been much change in Europe for the past 20 years and ... people are still willing to listen to the "same old music". We're not asking them to play old tracks, although it's nice to hear once in a while. But, we're asking them to at least continue the sound and not just drop the bass every 33 seconds.
That's like going to a U2 show and getting angry when they play Sunday Bloody Sunday and saying "God. Why is U2 still playing the same old music?" |

Sure did!
There were a ton of those moments for sure but when he dropped Forbidden Fruit (My personal favorite) I screamed like a little school girl......
My wife just knew |

In all seriousness, the best thing you can do is give PvD direct feedback, tweet to him and let him know. The set he played Sunday still has many fans.
I honestly think if he was consistent with that kind of set he would move back up the DJ Mag poll |

That poll is complete horse and part of the reason EDM has chalenges keeping it's roots. When Guetta, Avicii, Skrilliex, etc are in the top 5-10, you know it's time to put it aside. This being all my own opinion, I am pretty sure many would agree. |

honestly, the best thing we can do: buy Paul van Dyk's stuff. In this world, we vote with our $$$. That's the most powerful thing we can do. See artist live, venues will want to have more people who spend $$$. Buy their records, Tshirts, etc. support them to do their thing more. Get our friends into the same thing too so they start the cycle again. It's the world we live in.
In another note, Forbes put out a list of their top earning DJ...
http://www.forbes.com/pictures/eeel...est-paid-djs-2/
definitely did not expect someone on that list... I don't think he even deserves a mention on this board! |

I fixed the audio sync issue. The new embedded video is the correct one
I have not gotten much help on the IDs but most of them are easy classics. Please help with them

sorry, Paul Van Dyk pulled the original video down due to copyright claim. the fixed audio sync would have been a second strike in two days.
Honestly I am wondering if they have the ability to claim copyright to a low quality non-professional concert recording. Never happened to me before
